Mark Barcus is not a typical executive coach.

Before founding InnerLoop Performance Coaching & Leadership, Mark spent more than 25 years as a judge making high-stakes decisions in environments where clarity was limited, pressure was real, and outcomes carried real world consequences. Today he works with senior leaders facing similarly complex moments – leaders who face not only the question of what to decide, but of understanding the essential nature of the decision they are making.

Mark’s work helps leaders discern the decision environment they are operating in – whether a decision calls for structure, expertise, experimentation, or stabilization before action. That clarity allows them to move forward with confidence in conditions that don’t always offer certainty.

In addition to his coaching practice, Mark serves as an arbitrator and leadership advisor in complex dispute environments. He brings together courtroom judgment, organizational leadership experience, and deep psychological insight to support leaders through conflict, transition, and responsibility at scale.
